Printing Specifications

Printing: Back At The Ranch is printed on a webpress on 35# Highbrite (Newspaper like stock). Please allow for 30% dot gain (see below).

File Format: Print Ready/High Resolution PDF format. DPI: Material should be built at a minimum resolution of 220 dpi.

Fonts: Please embed all fonts or convert fonts to outlines when making a PDF.

Black and White Ads: Allow for 30% Dot gain which will result in images printing darker than expected. Lighten images accordingly.

Color Ads: Allow for 30% Dot gain which wiil result in images printing darker than expected. Lighten images accordingly. Color material should be sent as four color process. Please avoid small 4 color black type. Color may vary slightly from issue to issue.

Photoshop tips: Using Photoshop, apply an Unsharp Mask at about 80% to all images. This will help with your images printing clearer
